My Story

My name is Dan Morgan, and I am the owner of ChampionChip Cookies. I’ve always enjoyed baking at home for family and family but never imagined that I would step out and do this for a living. ChampionChip Cookies has been spreading joy, one cookie at a time, since February 2020. Featuring 16 fantastic flavors, I use only the highest quality ingredients to create a classic taste that never goes out of style.

Prior to starting ChampionChip Cookies, I was a nurse for eight years. I earned my LPN and ADN from Grand Rapids Community College, and my RN-BSN from Ferris State University. Most of my experience was as an inpatient psychiatric nurse. I also worked in long-term care. After a car accident, my nursing career ended and I adjusted to that curve ball by starting ChampionChip Cookies.

I bake everything in small batches from my home base in Jenison, Michigan. To achieve optimal freshness, these elite treats are made to order, making every delicious bite worth your patience.

I’ve been married to my beautiful wife since 2008, and we have an 11 year old son named Noah. When I’m not baking, I enjoy spending time with my family, going for walks through the park, and cheering for the Michigan Wolverines football team.
